Inflation worries continue to weigh on US equity markets

This is the first half of today’s Futures and Stock trading webinar where the topics include a look at the inflation narrative. The media is very much focused on inflation but there is also a case for deflation and even stagflation. Commodities signal inflation but their recent rise is also being driven by the search for yield and despite a recent pullback in Soybean, the bullish trend remains intact.

The conflicting data on inflation is reflected in desultory and fragile price action in the indices even as they trade near or at all-time highs.

Featured charts in this recording include the US30 (based on the Dow Jones) from the MT4 platform in multiple time frames ranging from the daily down to a fixed value Renko, plus an explanation of how to use the Renko for trade entries along with Camarilla levels.

We also looked at the Russel 2000 and how we can use this index as a proxy for risk appetite.
