Where to find volume for trading stocks

Question

Hi Anna, I purchased hour VPA book and am really loving it. I am currently going through your video tutorials dealing with Forex. I know you use the MT4 platform for Forex, but what platform do you use for stocks that shows similar volume?

Answer

Many thanks for your email and your kind comments. For stocks I use several sources, but one of the best ( and free ) is Free Stock Charts which gives you realtime data with volume and on stocks and ETF’s etc. Another I use is NinjaTrader with the Kinetick data feed ( not free but very powerful ) and covers many markets around the world. Others I have used in the past include Sharescope (UK stocks mainly) and Chartsmart for Canadian and US stocks. Finally of course there is always Google finance. I hope this helps and once again many thanks for getting in touch and your kind comments and delighted you are enjoying the book. All best wishes Anna
